Agreement WHA 12-40 between WHO and the IAEA was signed on the 28th May 1959 – which is now 50 years ago. Members of the Vigil in Geneva travelled to Vienna, capital of Austria and the location of the headquarters of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), to join up with local groups. A symbolic presence in front of the IAEA, but also a chance to meet the public.
